About us

The Antwerp America Foundation (AAF) offers an independent forum for American culture. We bring prominent and bright American leaders in the fields of economics, politics, literature, history, sciences, technology and the arts to venues in Antwerp.

We defend the power of the spoken word. It is our mission to promote a better and more in-depth understanding of the United States. Through real life encounters and dialogue with our prominent speakers the AAF fulfills its mission.

A major world power since its inception, the United States has grown into a superpower that exerts its influence around the world. The AAF provides a window onto the developments in the USA and strengthens Antwerp America relations.

Our aimed audience is diverse and (inter)national. We welcome people from different walks of life and backgrounds with a keen interest in American culture. AAF includes the following target audiences :

• Entrepreneurs and businesspeople in Antwerp area and Flanders
• International, diverse communities based in Antwerp
• Journalists, writers, opinionmakers
